CNBC announces the 5 best hotels in Asia in 2022

When the COVID-19 outbreak is almost completely under control, international travel demand is expected to increase at a significantly faster rate than it has in the previous two years. By the end of the year, 55% of business travelers will fly internationally again, according to Deloitte.

CNBC International conducted a study of businesspeople regarding their preferred hotels in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific as a result. The "Best Hotels for Business Travelers" rating was created by CNBC in collaboration with the market and consumer data business Statista.

CNBC presented a list of the 235 best hotels in the Asia Pacific area in 47 cities and 13 countries for business travelers in the article Shanghai, Mumbai, Melbourne and beyond: CNBC names the best Asia-Pacific hotels for business travel, which was published on CNBC in mid-September.

The unique feature of this list is that three of the top five hotels in Asia are from Vietnam, specifically The Reverie Saigon Residential Suites, Vinpearl Hotel Can Tho, and Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi:

      1. The Reverie Saigon Residential Suites

The Reverie Saigon Residential Suites offers accommodations in the bustling downtown area of Ho Chi Minh City. It has three on-site restaurants that specialize in a range of cuisines, a year-round outdoor pool, and handy amenities. The furnishings are an eclectic combination of bold and modern European-style pieces. Free Wi-Fi and on-site spa amenities are accessible everywhere on the resort. (As reported by booking.com)

      2. Vinpearl Hotel Can Tho

The Vinpearl Hotel Can Tho is the tallest hotel in the Mekong Delta. It is situated in a prominent area with views of the lively city and the serene Can Tho River. Since 1901, the opulent Sofitel Legend Metropole has been a historical monument. It offers a heated pool, 24-hour room service, and relaxing spa facilities. In the center of Hanoi, close to the Old Quarter, is where this house is situated. Only 160 meters separate the renowned Hanoi Opera House from the 5-star Sofitel Legend Metropole. The hotel is less than 500 meters from the lovely Hoan Kiem Lake. The beautiful neoclassical themes or traditional French décor in the rooms preserve the hotel's original splendor. In the cities of Hanoi, Da Nang, Can Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam this year has 20 of the greatest hotels in Asia. Following recent triumphs in a row for Vietnam tourism at international awards, this is a wonderful accomplishment.

CNBC researched more than 10,000 4- and 5-star hotels across 117 cities to compile this list of reliable accommodations. CNBC followed a three-step strategy to do this:

      • Request responses from business owners and individuals working in the hotel sector to a CNBC reader poll between May 3 and June 7, 2022.
      • Examine more than 1 million hotel data points, including both objective data (such as a hotel's location, amenities, food, entertainment, and room features) and user-submitted ratings (collected from Google , TripAdvisor, Expedia and similar websites).
      • Prioritize the hotel attributes that readers deemed most significant after doing an analysis of the data.
