Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism will hold Roadshow at ITB Asia 2022

ITB Asia, Asia's Leading Travel Trade Show, is an annual B2B trade show and fair for the travel industry that aims to be the focal point of the region's tourism sector. The 15th ITB Asia will take place this year from October 19–21, 2022, in Singapore at Marina Bay Sands.

International exhibitors, focal agencies, organizations, Southeast Asia-Asia travel agencies, and SMEs will have a good opportunity to network with top international buyers from MICE tourism, retail travel, corporate, and technology travel at ITB Asia, one of the leading travel events in Asia, which attracts more than 1,300 exhibitors, 1,250 buyers, and more than 13,000 attendees from 132 countries and regions each year.

Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pte Ltd is in charge of organizing ITB Asia, with assistance from the Singapore Convention & Exhibition Bureau. ITB Asia, which covers significant travel agencies such as Leisure, MICE, Corporate, and Travel Technology, was co-founded with MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia.

Thousands of businesses from the Americas, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East will be exhibiting at the event. Exhibitors from all facets of the travel industry, including destinations, airlines and airports, hotels and resorts, theme parks and attractions, domestic tour operators, DMC domestic, travel agencies, spas, venues, other meeting facilities, and travel technology firms, attended the event.

Today, ITB Asia is the top trade show for the travel industry and a venue for building trusting connections with clients and doing business. It is where prominent international buyers from the MICE, Leisure, Corporate Travel, and Travel Technology markets meet with international exhibitors from all segments of the travel trade value chain.

In order to recover international tourism after COVID-19, Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center (HTPC) will organize Roadshow Vietnam - Ho Chi Minh City Tourism in Singapore from 17th to 22nd October 2022, with main activities including:

- Organize @Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Booth at ITB Asia from 19 – 21 October 2022 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

- Organize Seminar Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism (tentative from 14h00 – 16h00 on 19 October 2022 at Level 3, Sands Expo and Convention Center);

- Organize promotional and cultural activities @Vietnam – Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Booth such as drawing conical hats, making “to he”, performing traditional musical instruments, and Happy Hour – Taste of Vietnam.

Cooperation between the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and eminent media outlets like NBCU, BBC Global News, SCMP, VICE Media, and Nikkei Asia is something that Global Book Corporation hopes to establish during this event.
